Healthy pigs for Moldovan consumers

Funny Pig SRL is a pig breeding company with two breeding facilities.  One is located in the Floresti region – used for actual breeding, the other one in the Anenii-Noi region – used for raising of pigs, housing 11,962 animals.

The animals are sold mainly to food processing companies and some to individual consumers.

To improve the efficiency and product safety of the pigs bread and grown on the two farms, as well as to introduce environmental compliance and health and safety at work, the company invested in in modern equipment for pig raising and in cooling equipment for the meat products.

The equipment, financed through a EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line loan, included:
